The evening course in drawing is suitable for you as a beginner and for those who have previous experience. You will learn the basics of turning, beading, decoration techniques and glazing. During these Thursdays will show you how to turn everything from bowls, cups with handles, candlesticks to plates.
During the teaching, you will receive individual guidance. Learning to master turning can take time and you have good opportunities to develop if you attend several courses or opportunities.
Time: Thursdays at 17:30 - 20:30
Start date: v.8 - February 22, 2024
Number of occasions: 3h x 5 times (29 Feb, 7 Mar, 14 Mar, glazing 28 Mar)
Course structure:
Case 1: Introduction and review of kneading, centering and turning of cylinder
Case 2: How to send and continue turning
Case 3-4: Continued turning and review of various techniques
Case 5: Glazing
The course fee includes:
- 1.5 kg stoneware clay (after that clay costs SEK 75/kg)
- Glazes + Firing
- Coffee Tea
